Last year I was extremely honoured that Image Comics published 2 issues of Texas Strangers, an intended monthly ongoing all-ages comics series written by Antony Johnston and Dan Evans III.
Our outline spanned 24 issues, comprising of 12 stories that detailed the quest of the twins Wyatt and Madara to return a magical knife back to their parent's homestead in Texas. It was a world where magic exists, where elfs roam the plains and Orcs are bullies. And the French were the bad guys.
Sadly, due to lacking sales and income I wasn't able to commit my time to it anymore and we had to put the series on hiatus.
But it's not dead!
We still believe in this project if it can be put into the hands of kids and libraries. So one of my early newyears resolutions is to resurrect this series even if I have to redraw it entirely!
