I actually started out as a childrens bookillustrator, way back ik 1999 (sheesh! I sound old saying that!).
Won an award too!
Since then I've published about 20 or so different books, many of which I wrote myself.
Then I found some succes as a comicbook creator and my career veered of in that direction. So, when one of my illustrations publishers asked me to illustrate a couple of first readers books, I jumped at the opportunity.
Not long before that I went to a daylong digital illustration seminar where J. Otto Seibold was the keynote speaker, I decided to follow in his artistic footsteps.
